These are the ranks and how to get them!
Ranks will be given when thought proper. Obviously, if your wolf is an elder, pup, yearling or has just joined the pack, then they will automatically have those ranks but to get a Beta or Loyal position, you must earn it. You can also get demoted to such ranks as Omega.

Alpha: The alphas are the two highest ranks. They are the lead wolves and no one can boss them around. The alpha male is usually higher than the female but that won't stop a female from taking charge. The alpha male is in control of the males and obviously alpha female in charge of the females.

Beta: Beta are the second in charge and their role is assistance to the alpha of their gender. A beta will be highly trusted and dependable in a pack. If an alpha has to leave for awhile, the beta will control the pack until his/her return.

Loyal Member: These wolves are trusted members of the pack, they are usually first to help out in a crisis and first to pack meetings. They are usually lead in hunts, battles etc. and are usually chosen for pup-training etc. They are trustworthy and, as their title suggests, loyal.

Pack Member: This pretty much says it all. These wolves are just basic pack members. This is the rank you'd get on first entrance to the pack until you earn the trust of the alphas. Pack members must respect all the wolves higher in rank and have to follow all instructions.

Elder: These are the wolves who are 'over the hill' or 'past it'. The elders would be in charge of lookouts and pups, able to tell stories and be trusted to have a keen eye and a lot of experience. They are obviously not as agile as an adult so are not able to participate in hunts but can choose whether they wish to go into battle. To be an Elder, you have to be 9+

Pup: The pups are the youngest of the group, the bundles of energy that keep the pack on their paws. The pups are usually looked after by Loyal Members and Elders and begin venturing from the den after the 2nd month of existence(virtual). All information on the growing of the pups is on 'Help' under the board 'OoC'!

Yearling: This is self-explanitory. A yearling is a wolf of 1 year who has just came out of puphood. He/She is now classed as an adolsecent and will be taking on daily roles within the pack.

Omega: Omega is the lowest of all the ranks, even lower than the pups. They must've done something pretty bad to end up as an omega but even being late or not participating in a hunt without notice could leave you in this rank. You should expect pretty harsh treatment for you are classed as 'disrespectful' to an alpha and that won't go down well in the pack.

If i have to add anymore ranks then just make sure you keep an eye on these boards.
