The onyx brute slowed his pace as he approached the dens,the cool cavern floor soothed his mitts as he enetered one of the dens for the pregnant mothers,carrying Sera on his muscular back.Combat had a worried faical expression crossing his muzzle as he slid Sera off of his back side,making sure that her fragile body was carefully placed onto the cavern floor.
"Sera...Are you okay?" Combat whispered softly into her russet ear,nudging her muzzle in concern...

Eyes began to flutter open but closed as a sharp pain ran through her side, a cry emitting from her jaws. She snapped at the ground, clawing the dirt to take the stress away.
Her russet pelt was ruffled and she was sweating more than ever. She growled and whimpered as she began to push as hard as she could.
Soon enough, even with the strain of the heat, two pups were born, quickly retreating the hind area to suckle. Attracted by the scent of their mother, they managed to find her easily and instantly began to feed.
Unfortunately for Serafina, this was just the start of it.
*hours later*
After a few hours, the whole litter was born. Seven beautiful pups were born, although one was a stillborn. It was the runt of the litter, the tiniest female. Six beautiful, healthy pups. Reds, blacks, tans, many colours in that one litter, both Combat's coat and Sera's Coat mixed in.
The mother was not so good...she lay limp and out of breath. After the whole process, she had fainted and had fallen into unconciousness, only slight rising of the stomach to show that she was still alive.

Combat gazed at their newborn pups,six healthy pups.His pups! Yet,his streak of joy suddenly ended when he noticed Serafina becoming weak and stressed from all of the arrival of the pups.His optics widened with fear of his mate,immediatly nudging her roughly to get her awake.
"Sera? SERA! WAKE UP!" Combat exclaimed,nudging her harder and harder in hopes of waking her back up.
(Ugh shortness...)

OOC: Definitely not...just adding plottiness!!  Also, i gotta go very soon so this will be short - i might wake her up in the morning.
BIC:Serafina did not wake. A coma? Possibly but it was certain that she was still breathing and her heart, although fast, was still beating. Although still lifeless, she was dreaming...dreaming of the past days with Combat, dreaming of the strain of the pregnancy and then the most often dream...she dreamt of the future, of her and Combat nourishing their pups, leading the pack.

Eyes quickly opened and Sera jumped to her paws, worried about what had happened. Life seemed dark...or was it just night-time now? She didn't know but she couldn't see Combat or her pups anywhere. She looked around and then below her was a gaping hole...and she fell.
"COMBAT!!!"She screeched, eyes opening in reality. She had forgotten about her pups which now cowered under Sera's layer of fur. Sera just lay there, unable to gather the energy to stand. She began to weep. What had happened to her?

Combat's crania arose swiftly at Sera's plea,giving her a slight nuzzle to tell her it was safe.
Its okay,Sera...Calm down,everything is alright...You just fell asleep and had a nightmare...Dont worry! You might scare the pups... Combat whispered lovingly,cuddling up to both Serafina and his pups.Their pups! One of the ivory pups was yanking on his tail,struggling to lock on because of his/her lack of teeth.The others whimpered in a puppish way,telping for their mother to nurse them...

Serafina calmed down, relaxing slightly as she let her pups feed. She laughed as she watched the antics of one of the pups. "Fiesty little one..." She whispered, laying her head upon her paws. "Combat, what should we name them?"
This was the question that she was thinking about when she went into labour. They never did come to a final decision but here was the right time, right place to do just that.

The blackened brute sniffed the white pup slightly,his nose touching her softened pelt.She whimpered cutely as the wet sensation of her father's nose touched her side,not knowing who or what it was.
How about...Rozzie?
Combat asked,noticing that the first born pup was a white female.His little girl! Rozzie curled into a small fluff ball against her father's side,sleeping soundly.Combat's tassle wrapped around her,almost like a warm blanket...

Serafina looked at the pup and then repeated the name Combat had given over and over again in her mind. The whelp seemed to react to it enthusiastically so Sera nodded.
"I like it," She giggled, seeing Rozzie tug at Combat's tail. She looked at one of the russet pups and thought of a good idea. She nuzzled it softly then looked to Combat. "I'd like to name this one after my dame, Citrine."

Combat gave Sera a slight nod of approvel,a grin crossing his onyx muzzle.He gave Citrine a small nuzzle,listening to the pup's small whimpers.Yet,as he was about to pull his head away and nuzzle Sera once more,one of the male pups caught his attention.It seemed to look like a pup image of Combat,pure black with a small white blotch on his chest.The male pup was nipping Combat's auds,new eyes opened wide to see the world.
What about this little chip off the old block?

Sera thought for a moment, liffting her head as she got an idea. She looked from Combat to the little male pup.
"I like Valcan, it means strong...just like his father," She whispered, her breath soft, energy drained but she still had the strength to speak.

(OMG SORRY SORRY SORRY! I thought that Crystal Teardrop was still being updraged O_o )
Combat chuckled his ussual deep and hearty laughter,giving his mate another affectionate lick and nuzzle on her petite neck,his muscles simple contracting as he reached out.He glanced back at his pups,no,their pups! He gazed down at another pup,it's peltage mixed with timber and hues of gray.
"He looks like one of my friends,Ranska..." Combat whispered,shifting his wieght slightly as the pups squeeled for Sera,struggling to lift their heads upwards.
